A letter was sent home with pupils on Friday reminding parents of the staff training day on Wednesday 10th October and details of the early closure week beginning 15th October.

There was glorious weather for the annual Dudley School Cross Country Championships on Saturday 29th September. Over 25 school met at Himley Hall to take part in the competition and The Wordsley School entered runners across all age groups.
Yr 7 puipls; Elliot Bentley, Connor Green and Sophie Chance had their first taste of the compeition, with Sophie finishing in the top 20.
The junior event for Yr 8 and 9 saw Nathan Green, Callum Barnett, Sam Taylor, Connor Hill, Harry Best, Isobel Rothin, Ellie Newey, Olivia Alsop, Charlotte Day, Emily Street and Georgia Cater, cover a challenging course, with Charlotte achieving a top 15 place.
The final event of the day was for the senior boys and Ashleigh Bentley competed against Yr 10 to Yr 14 boys to cover a gruelling 2 laps, he finished the race in a very respectable 7th place.
A massive well done goes to all our pupils that took part.
